Prayer at West Suffolk Vineyard Church We believe prayer is key to everything we stand for:
  • It comes out of a place of intimacy in the presence of Jesus
  • It is the centre of all we do
  • It enables us to hear God and to respond
  • It transforms people and situations
  • It nurtures and blesses our relationship with each other in Jesus
  • It enables us to extend the kingdom of God

Sundays Prior to the start of the Sunday Celebration there is an opportunity to meet together and pray for the Celebration itself. Turn up at any time and stay for as long as you wish:

Monday morning prayer hour - everyone welcome.

Every Monday 9:30 - 10:30am at Shirley Berry's house. Call the office for more details. To pray for our church life at West Suffolk Vineyard Church, our town and our area.

The River

The River

A time to meet together monthly to worship and flow creatively in prayer, with an emphasis on outreach.

At the Vineyard Centre at 7.45-9.30pm

Prayer opportunities

Prayer Chains - these receive requests to pray for needs of an immediate nature.

Intercessor Teams - these pray for requests of a longer term nature.

Praying Parents - a group of parents committed to praying for requests that come in, however small, for our (or our friends') children or grandchildren.

Prodigal Prayers - a group that commit to pray for our 'prodigals' - those we long to see to find and to return to Jesus.

Area Prayer - a monthly home group where we uphold all the Vineyard churches and new church-plants with our East Anglia and Kent Area.

Praying Partners - anyone is welcome to meet up with one or two other people to intercede for the requests that are received.


Confidentiality Throughout all the prayer groups and occasions be assured that all prayer of any personal nature is kept completely confidential within the group and follows our usual pastoral lines of confidentiality and accountability.
