National Leaders Conference 2012
Our leaders had a great time gathering with other Vineyard leaders from the UK and Ireland, at our National Leaders' Conference in Nottingham in the last week of January. If you weren't able to come, you can catch recordings of the main sessions and seminars on the Vineyard Churches website.
Sunday Evening Celebrations
On Sunday 5th February we had the first of our Sunday Evening Celebrations at King Edwards VI School. These will run every week, from 6.30pm with worship, refreshments, bible teaching and prayer.

Festive Hampers If you were in Church on Sunday you will have heard Neil &
Sheila chatting about their experiences in Cincinnati and the prophetic
turkeys! They are piloting a similar idea here in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday
17th December meeting at 10.00am at their home
(The Glen, Eastgate Street, BSE). Festive Hampers - The idea is that
you, or your family, or your kinship, or a bunch of you commit to
buying the things that are needed for a Christmas Hamper (Neil &
Sheila have a recommended shopping list). Then, once the hampers are
prepared, everyone will meet together and ask God where the hampers
should be delivered.
Cincinnati Open House Would you like to know more about Neil & Sheila Vollar’s
visit to Cincinnati? They are hosting an Open House – with
hot chocolate and cake – when they will be sharing stories of
their time away, showing photos/videos of the Healing Centre and
other things that they got up to. If you want to be inspired – not just by their visit, but by
what God might do with us here at WSVC, do get along and join them
on either: Friday 10th December or Sunday 12th December 7.00 at The Glen, Eastgate Street, Bury St
Edmunds. If you’d planning to go please let Neil & Sheila know, or give the office a call.
MP3: A God Breathed Church (click here for the slides)
Listen to the MP3 and view the powerpoint for this talk from Chris looking at the event of Pentecost in the Bible (Acts 2: 1-21) and how God launched his church. Chris then looks at what God is asking of our church today, along with some blue-sky thinking of where we might go and an invitation to help get us there.
Dave Workman's visit
The MP3 of the talk and the slides, as well as the videos from Dave Workman's visit to us on Sunday 15th May are now available on our online talks page, and available through our podcasts page.
It was great to see 210 adults along with 20 children at our Cambridge venue, part of the Vineyard National Celebration on Saturday that took place in 10 other locations across the UK and Ireland. We'll hopefully get some photos here soon.
Here are some of the videos that we saw on the day: You can click the above links to run or download the video files. You can also click here to go to the video page on the national website. Vineyard National Celebration: Commitment Form At the Vineyard National Celebration there was the opportunity to commit yourself to helping the movement through prayer, fasting, church planting or giving financially. If you were unable to fill in this form at one of our events, or weren't present at one of the events but would like to have the opportunity to fill in this form, you can download it by visiting the national website here:
